Magda van der Lith is the Practice Manager at Levantine Medical Centre. She is a born South African citizen, qualified as a Registered Nurse and Midwife.

Studied at the University of Stellenbosch’s Tygerberg Campus where she completed her training as a Register Nurse in 1991 as well as her Post Graduate degree as an Advanced Midwife with Neonatology in 1996. Magda has worked in South Africa until August of 1998 after which she went to work as a midwife in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at Tawam Hospital from September of 1998. There she managed the Labour ward from 2003 up until 2010 where after she went to work in Saudi Arabia for one year before returning to the UAE to manage the Labour ward and Woman’s Center at a private hospital in Al Ain.

Magda returned to South Africa in 2015 and worked as an Independent Midwife at the Mitchell’s Plain District Hospital until 2019. Upon her return to the UAE in 2019, Magda helped with the general preparations for Levantine Medical Center by readying it for Department of Health inspection, writing of the policy and appointing of staff to the center, taking on her role as Practice Manager.
